  • From South Australia, you might want to drive the Great Ocean Road across to Melbourne and see the amazing lime stone stacks called the Twelve Apostles sitting off the coast line.
  • Sydney is a stepping stone to the beautiful Blue Mountains, where you can see waterfalls, caves and glow worm tunnels. And a stone's throw away from wine tasting.  Don't forget to check out the Sydney Harbor bridge (at sunrise), Sydney Opera House, and see a different night sky from Sydney's oldest observatory.
  • If wildlife interests you, then visit Kangaroo Island in South Australia to see colonies of sea lions, penguins and birds in their natural habitat.
  • Take the scenic rail journey up to Kuranda and visit Cape Tribulation, which has one of the largest protected tropical rainforest.  It is also possible to drive if cost is a factor.
  • One of the most famous natural structures is visible from space, the Great Barrier reef.  Don't miss your chance to scuba or snorkel here or take a helicopter ride to see the spectacular drop off, made famous in Finding Nemo.
  • "The Red Center" also known as the Northern Territory is home to Uluru - Ayer's Rock, the Olgas, King's Canyon, and Alice Springs.  Desert then turns into blue ocean at Darwin as well as spectacular waterfalls in Katherine Gorge.
